Every year it’s the same story: cellulite is always there. No break!

Raise your hand if you don’t have the much-hated orange peel, or better cellulite!

Let’s face it frankly, very few women have received the gift of not suffering from it.

The heat comes and inevitably we dress in a lighter way. Sleeves, skirts, dresses and trousers are shortened. Panic often takes over because last year’s jeans are no longer going well and the bikini season becomes something truly distressing.

And therefore google is assaulted to find the quickest remedy: “what is the best anti-cellulite cream?”, “how to eliminate cellulite in 15 days”, “how to lose 5 kg in 15 days”, “best nutritionist near home”, “gym offers” (the last two are certainly the smartest searches).

But what is cellulite, also known as “orange peel”?

Orange peel cellulite

It is good to underline that the correct name of cellulite is “mesenchymopathy” or connective tissue disease, however known with the scientific term “edemato-fibro-sclerotic panniculopathy”.

Normally 4 stages are identified:

  • Edematous cellulite: this is the initial phase in which the stagnation of liquids prevails. The skin is cold to the touch and by compressing it, the first signs of the “orange peel” appear.
  • Fibrous cellulite: small nodules begin to form in the adipose tissue, while the connective tissue loses elasticity. The skin has more or less evident depressions.
  • Soft sclerotic cellulite: the nodules are very large, hard and painful to the touch, accompanied by venous and/or lymphatic insufficiency.
  • Sclerotic cellulite: the large and highly evident nodules are very painful and the skin from “orange peel” gets the “mattress” appearance.

The causes of cellulite are manifold: endocrine glandular dysfunctions, venous/lymphatic/capillary dysfunctions, neurovegetative dystonia, psychological stress, menopause, a diet rich in sugars and starchy foods.

As we well know, “cellulite never sleeps” and the first rule should be to use these cosmetics all year round and not only in the summer. But, especially in the winter season, the lack of desire, laziness and the cold take over. So, let’s try to intervene with targeted, effective products rich in functional active ingredients.

Intégrée has developed a line of functional cosmeceuticals, designed specifically to come to all women aid. We are talking about the Model IN line, created to combat the skin imperfections of cellulite and for the remodelling of the body shapes.
